mouse events problem

in Using jQuery Plugins • 26 days ago

I am using PixelEntity ken burns Slider on my page with simple JQuery menu with ul and li. Slider is working very good on my page but the problem is when my menu comes over the slider and I put my mouse over menu item then menu will disappear.

What can be the solution for that.

inspect the css z-index of elements in a browser console and adjust accordingly

I already set z-index and actually z-index is not the problem. Menu is coming properly. Problem is whichever menu is coming over the slider that menu get disappear when i put mouse on it.

I think there is some mouse enter event is in the plugin which is giving problem. Kindly can you help me on that.

it is a z-index issue,

use this as a guideleine to troubleshoot

http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/#faq

follow the z-index bug fix in middle of page. I just made it work in Firebug console on your page doing same thing

Thank you very much charlietfl. Yea it was a z-index problem. And in slider plugin z-index value was very huge and I was setting z-index value for menu lower than it so it was not working. But when I increase value than plugin value it start working.
