Those TUF people have a competition running and you could win either an as yet unreleased ASUS TUF Sabertooth 990FX Series Motherboard + ASUS HD7770-2GD5 Graphics Card, a PA23Q Pro Art monitor or latest RT-N66U router.

After spotting the incredible Inverted (pǝʇɹǝʌuı) mod featuring the Sabertooth Z77 at its heart, we contacted Martijn to feature it in full here on ROG. It doesn’t just look good too; there’s not a CNC in sight and only one part not made by his own hands, while in addition, Martijn’s approach to neat cabling control or entire replacement is truly exquisite. This project is proof you don’t need a whole workshop to become an world-class modder!

Note: THIS IS NOT REAL.
But if you’ve just gone “OMGIWANTITNEEDITHOWSOONCANIHAVEONE?” then I don’t blame you. Legendary PC modder Paul Tan introduced us to this concept art on our ROG Facebook page and we just had to post it up.

Just as the Crosshair V Formula-Z has been upgraded, the Sabertooth 990FX gets an R2.0 update as well. Click inside to see our quick unboxing and overview of what’s new for TUF fans.

Before this year’s Computex, the ASUS TUF team sponsored a few modders – including Paul – to take the Sabertooth Z77 and design something TUF, sorry, tough enough to match its hardware credentials.
Memory Performance Gains On The Crosshair V Formula-Z & Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

The new Crosshair V Formula-Z and Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 are the 2012 upgrades to ROG and TUF’s premium AMD boards. With subtle improvements for AMD’s existing FX ‘Bulldozer’ and future ‘Piledriver’ architecture, there are feature revisions that both can and can’t be seen. One of these is an improved memory performance through higher attainable frequencies – even when using 4-DIMM – thanks to the same T-Topology that ASUS Z77 and ROG Maximus V boards already use, and DIGI+ VRM controlling the power regulation to the memory channels.
