Zen

Zen is a powerful, yet simple, HTML5 starting theme with a responsive, mobile-first grid design. If you are building your own standards-compliant theme, you will find it much easier to start with Zen than to start with Garland or Stark. This theme has fantastic online documentation and tons of helpful code comments in its PHP, HTML, CSS and Sass.

At many points in my Drupal career I’ve loved, leaned on & learned from the Zen theme. Version 5 takes that to a whole new level.

Omega

Omega 4

Who is it for?

Omega 4.x is a base theme framework aimed at themers who want to gain full control over the theme through code, rather than a user interface. If you depend on the user interface you can continue using Omega 3.x.

What are the features?

• Omega 4.x contains a rewrite (cleanup) of all of core’s CSS and many optimizations to the markup generated by core. This backports many of the standards described in the Drupal 8 CSS Standards which make the CSS more performant and much more easily overridden and future-proof.
• The Omega theme provides layouts as a method of managing page templates along with layout specific stylesheets and regions. This allows you to write highly customized layouts that can be contextually switched. You can disable this feature to use the plain page.tpl.php or even use Omega 4.x together with Panels and Panels Everywhere to gain even more control over your pages if required.
• Assets and compatibility are handled by two Omega extensions which contain settings for many popular libraries and tools to manage Drupals Javascript and CSS assets.

AdaptiveTheme

Responsive HTML5 Drupal 7 Base Theme

Adaptivetheme is a powerful theme framework designed from the ground up to power modern, cross browser/cross device websites using responsive design techniques.

Adaptivetheme allows you to set up specific layouts for different device groups - such as desktop, tablet and smartphone - all with zero coding. Its all easy point-and-click configuration.

AT Core Extended

AT 7.x-3.x ships with optional "Extensions". These are easy point and click style settings such as fonts, heading styles, layout tweaks, image alignment and much more!

Fusion

Fusion is a powerful base theme, with layout and style configuration options built in that you can control through Drupal's UI. It's based on a simplified 960px or fluid 12/16-column grid with options for responsive layouts for mobile devices. It's designed to be used with the Fusion Accelerator module (or with Skinr in Drupal 6), with numerous useful block styles included.

Marinelli is a 3 column, tableless layout theme with a wide image banner and a "top-tabbed" primary-links system.

Corporate Clean for Drupal by More than (just) Themes is based on the homonymous PSD template, which was designed and published by Zsolt Kacso.

Tao

Tao is a base theme for Drupal that is all about going with the flow. It is not
meant for general-purpose use, but instead takes care of several tasks so that
sub-themes can get on with their job:

• Aggressive resets of not only browser default styles but Drupal core defaults
• Unification of several template families into a single consistent format (e.g.
  node.tpl.php, block.tpl.php, etc.)
• Theme overrides of several core annoyances (fieldsets, pagers)
• On-screen print stylesheet display and framework for further customized print
  styling

Tao makes several assumptions about how you, the themer, would like to work with
Drupal and the theme system:

• Minimize template overrides and leverage preprocessors as much as possible
• Preference for generalized styling over exceptions and particular design of
  one-off elements
• High degree of control over CSS, particularly selector specificity

Rubik

Rubik is a clean admin theme. It features a set of icons for admin pages provided by Drupal core and aggressive styling to reduce visual noise wherever possible.

Requirements

You must install the Tao base theme for Rubik to operate properly.

Business

Business Theme is a great looking Drupal 7 theme. The theme is not dependent on any core theme. Its very light weight with modern look and feel. Business's clean layout and light weight code make it a great theme for small or medium-sized business to get up and running quickly.

The Noggin module allows you to upload header images for your theme. Pixture Reloaded 7.x-2.2 includes a bunch of extra settings that allow you to easily position or tile those images without knowing CSS. See our help page on how to use the Noggin module and our extra Noggin settings. NOTE: the current DEV version of PR removes all custom Noggin settings, instead these are now part of Noggin (DEV version), remember, the selector for PR is #header .header-innner.

Adaptivetheme Base

Superfish Module and Drop menus

The 7.x-1.x and Drupal 6 version have hard coded support for drop menus. This has been deprecated in the 7.x-2.x version in favor of supporting the Superfish module. The 7.x-2.x version also allows you to add a menu to the Header region (to the right of the logo/site name) which will be automatically styled and work as a Superfish menu.

MAYO

MAYO theme's name is taken from a phrase "MAke Your Own" and "MAYOnnaise" which I love ;-). As the name describes itself, MAYO is developed to be a theme that provides users easy way to customize and create a theme they like.

MAYO is developed based on the experience with PIXTURE theme. However, it takes full advantage of Drupal 7's color module and advanced theme settings. MAYO is simple but flexible. You can customize the look of your MAYO theme easily from theme settings page. It does not require you to have the good knowledge of CSS, HTML and PHP.

What can be customized from the theme settings page?

• Color of most of the theme elements (base, page, header, sidebar, node, footer). In many cases, you can specify text color, link color, background color and border colors of each element.
• Base font and heading font type (either Serif or Sans-serif) and base font size.
• Page layout options such as width of the site (fixed width layout or liquid layout), margins, sidebar layout and width, etc.
• Styles such as menubar styles and round corner for node/sidebar block.
• Detail layout of header area contents (logo, site name, slogan, search engine box)
• You can easily upload and add your own image as the background of the header area. (You can use both background image and logo at the same time).

Acquia Marina

The Fusion base theme and Skinr are required. Skinr for Drupal 7 (dev release) is usable now but it is recommended that you proceed with caution and do some of your own testing.

The Drupal 7 version now has lots of CSS3 sexiness -- no more images, and even more skins!

Acquia Marina is an advanced theme developed by TopNotchThemes in partnership with Acquia for their Drupal distribution. It contains the same kinds of features you'll find in our other Drupal themes.

Features - 6.x-3.x & 7.x-1.x

• All the incredible features of Fusion, including a point-and-click layout, selectable block styles and icons, fluid width, configurable sidebars, typography settings, and more!

TB Nucleus

NUCLEUS is a base theme first released with Drupal 7 by ThemeBrain. The goal of this base theme is to provide a solid foundation for web development geeks to develop a theme quick and easy. Having a fast learning curve is the inflection point for UX/UI designers, Back-End and Front-End Developers.

The alpha version of NUCLEUS has been released in October 2011. We started with features as:

• Flexible and visual layout settings
• Control display of grid system (page width in pixel, more smart grid column and custom width)

Zero Point

Acquia Slate

NEW: Port of this theme to the Fusion theme system with tons of new features is up in the 3.x branch! The Fusion base theme and Skinr (2.x dev [installation instructions] if you want to use the photo banner) are required for the 3.x version.

Acquia Prosper

Acquia Prosper is an advanced Drupal theme by TopNotchThemes, with a monochromatic look and clean lines. It is designed as an Ubercart e-commerce theme that is easy to customize, but is extremely flexible for any type of site.

This theme is a subtheme of the Fusion Core base theme. Positioning and block styles are controlled through Drupal's UI via the Skinr module, which is required if you want to actually use styles.
