You're not seeing things. Well, not things that aren't really there. They're there. Trust us.

Sometimes we like to pretend that we're British and that it's pronounced "Thee-at-UH" instead of "Thee-uh-terr." We also like to pretend we're wearing top hats and monocles. Also also, we're dangerously dehydrated right now. 

But don't worry. That isn't getting in our way of sourcing great deals and… WHOA! LOOK! OUT THERE! OVER THAT HILL! IT'S A POOL AND A GATORADE FOUNTAIN AND THERE'S A GUY GIVING OUT SAMPLES OF AIR-CONDITIONING AND THERE ARE PEOPLE WITH GIANT LEAVES JUST READY TO FAN US AND IT'S A BANQUET IN OUR HONOR! LET'S TAKE A BITE! 

Oh wait, it's all sand! Even the guy with the big leaf tasted like sand. Why did we try to eat the guy with the big leaf? Who knows. This is one of the mysteries of our times.
