But, after installing a driver (Seagate external drive) on the Hidden (Did on the Decoy without problem) I needed to Reboot my PC. <br />The windows logo appeared and just after I had the "Blue Screen Of Death" (Windows as been shutdown to prevent...) for less than 50ms and then the computer rebooted.<br /><br />I had two choices: Starting Windows normally or the Windows Boot Manager:<br />-Same thing when I retry to start windows<br />- Error 0xc000000f on the Windows Boot Manager.<br /><br />I really don't think that it's due to the driver installation because it was a very simple driver.<br />I previously had a problem (windows booting indefinitely on the Hidden OS) and I had to reinstall Windows (did all the encryption again, and loose my datas)<br /><br />I had the VeraCrypt Rescue Disk but I don't think it will help me.<br /><br />Can I recover, or maybe just reinstal the Hidden OS? It is not good to have two containers with the same "hash keys". It is best to create a new container with the same password, then the containers won't have the same hashes..

Of course, people ask of this in order to reduce the opening time which translate to reducing security. One argument in favor is to give people the choice. On argument against is that it will be a departure from the spirit of having a uniform security level for all volumes created through VeraCrypt.

Things may evolve in the future if there are new ideas on how to implement security configuration more wisely. Till then, this feature is on hold.<br />
