Peninsula Tennis Player Commits to UCLA

Palos Verdes Peninsula High tennis player Shilpa Joshi has committed to UCLA.
Joshi is ranked No. 50 in Southern California in the U.S. Tennis Assn.’s Girls’ 18 Division.
“The reason I chose UCLA was because it’s close [to home],” said Joshi, who is also student-body president.
“It’s going to be a challenge, but it’s something I’m looking forward to.”
